Need to complete your vendor team? Look no further. I've compiled a list of my favorite professionals in the area to help narrow down your list, some I've worked with and some are just pros I admit. Explore their work, reach out to them with questions to decide who is perfect for your day!

What order should you book in? Venue is always first- they set the date. Photographer is next because we book a year plus out  (but you already got that one). From there I suggest you work from 2 priorities; the most expensive and most valued (to you). Catering can be one of the most expensive vendors- so you want to book your top choice. And if flowers or music matter a lot to you, you'll want to prioritize them earlier to secure your top choice.

Each vendor is a professional in their own right, so give them the space to thrill you. Provide your larger vision but allow them to work their creative magic on your day. That is how you get wholly unique ideas, not Pinterest copies.

Men's attire is often overlooked. To avoid looking like you're borrowing your dad's suit for prom, look for companies that specialize in attire for younger men. They have more current styles. It is also worth it to invest in your own suit so you can have it custom tailored. Tailoring is the ultimate trick for men!

The choice of table, chairs, even your place setting is a wonderful way to infuse a lot of your personality into your wedding. Adding just one element can really elevate your reception- think about the difference a sail cloth tent vs plastic can make. Plus, the more you decorate the reception, the more images I'll be able to take.

Christine's advice

On the wedding day, and days leading up, time is very precious. Although DIY can be a tempting way to save money, be mindful of how much effort is required and if it will cause more stress than it's worth. Also be mindful of liability. Tents, big draping, and hanging lights all need to be installed by a pro to be safe. If it goes over your head, let a pro secure it.
